Our
Programs
Our sister organization, Wisconsin Community Veterinary Center is a non-profit organization on a mission to provide quality, affordable, accessible full-service veterinary care to pets in our community.
As a rescue, we take in animals with special medical needs that other shelters and rescues cannot care for. These animals come to us in need of various medical treatments, such as cherry repairs, FHO surgery, ACL repairs, and more. We address their medical issues and put them up for adoption as soon as possible. However, we rely on donations from our supporters to cover the costs of their care.
SFTS is a "Managed Intake" shelter, meaning we choose which animals come into our organization. Dogs and cats who are in need of being rescued from puppy mills, irresponsible breeders, and overcrowded shelters are our top priority. If we have the space and resources available, we'll reach out to you via phone or email to set up an appointment.
